DO YOU BELIEVE

Do you believe in Angels

and all the hope that they can bring?

Perhaps you've caught a glimpse or two,

thinking "I'm imagining things!"

"Miracles just don't happen here,

it's a media-hype thing to SELL!

I don't believe in angels

and I know they aren't real."

But what about the check that came

when it was truly needed.

Close to losing everything

your prayers were surely heeded.

The friend who hadn't planned too,

but dropped in to say hello

Giving you the needed lift

to get you through that low.

"Oh well", you quickly say,

"it would've happened anyway

And all those other times

well....I'd probably been ok."

"I don't believe in Angels

not in these modern times.

Not even when I can't explain

the reason or the rhyme."

There are non-believers here

who have somehow lost their faith

Souls who travel by themselves

among this human race.

Just BELIEVE that angels

are closer than you know,

And someone truly loves you

because an angel told me so.
